Brothers and sisters in Christ, greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Pastor Willie Rosin. Welcome to the web page of Saron Lutheran Church! We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and part of the Lac qui Parle Conference in the Southwest Minnesota Synod of the ELCA. We are a vibrant faith community who worships in a country church setting. We seek to serve God and our neighbors throughout the world. We are partners in ministry with Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Baxter Township which is located 9 miles west of Montevideo, Minnesota on US Highway 212. Baxter and Saron have been partners in ministry since 1944. If you are looking for a church home, we would love to have you come and visit! The two churches serve people from Montevideo, Dawson, Boyd, Clarkfield, Granite Falls, Maynard, and beyond.

My wife, Jennifer, and I have two girls, Grace and Isabelle. We moved to Montevideo from Hampton, Iowa in July of 2010 after I was called to the ministry of Word and Sacrament at Saron and Our Saviour’s of Baxter Lutheran churches. I enjoy serving in this time and place, spending time visiting with members and participating in the life of the church and the surrounding communities.

This is my first call in ministry. I graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in May of 2010 with a Master of Divinity degree. Jennifer and I both graduated from South Dakota State University in May of 2002 with our Bachelor of Music Education degrees. Jennifer currently teaches middle school band in Redwood Falls. We are excited to be here and I am excited to serve as the pastor of these two churches. I grew up in central South Dakota. My father is also an ELCA pastor, but currently retired. I love to hunt, fish, read, play on the farm, and Jennifer and I love to make music together and with our girls. We would love to have you come visit our church and see God working in and through the people of Saron Lutheran Church!
