Holy Cross is a member congregation of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). LCMC is congregational in structure, with beliefs based on the Bible and the Lutheran confessions as found in the Book of Concord.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church at The Villages, one of twelve LCMC parishes in Florida, is a start-up congregation that has been established to meet the religious needs of the community. We have a great respect for the reality that the church is where the people of God gather together around Word and Sacrament. We believe that the congregation is where the church becomes a concrete reality for God's people.

Our goal is to provide each member, associate member, and visitor a time of meaningful worship, and we will strive to meet the needs of the entire worship community, keeping our message relevant to both our people and location.

Holy Cross and LCMC have one primary task: that of sharing the life-giving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our focus is committing to knowing Jesus and making Jesus known. We firmly believe that by working together, we can participate in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations.
