WATERS OF GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, began worship in 2011 at the Frazee Event Center 114 North Lake Street, downtown Frazee MN.
For the summer of 2012 WATERS OF GRACE is expanding to include worship in Vergas at the Vergas Community Center on Linden St. in downtown Vergas. Both services are at 9:00a.m.*Waters of Grace is a faith community for theologically diverse people who take seriously God’s call for everyone to hear God’s word, receive Holy Communion, and serve God throughout the world |

Pastor Phil |
Pastor Phil Johnson has been leading worship in Frazee since March 2012. Pastor Phil also serves Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rural Osage. Pastor Phil was born in Watertown MN and a graduate of Golden Valley Lutheran College AA, Concordia College BA and Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary M-DIV. He has served congregations in Brainerd, Dawson, and Detroit Lakes. He is also trained and has served as an intentional interim pastor. Together with his wife, Pam, they have five adult children and enjoy life in the lakes area. | |

Pastor Dave Beety |
Pastor Beety will be leading worship in Vergas. He is a Minnesota native who was born and raised in St. Paul, MN, graduated from the University of Minnesota and Northwestern Theological Seminary. Pastor Dave also served in the U.S. Army with a tour of Vietnam from 1966-67. He married his high school sweetheart and has been married 43 years. He has two daughters and five grandchildren. Pastor Dave has worked in the church for 43 years with parishes in Durango Colorado, Chaska, Minneapolis, Braham, and First Lutheran in Audubon. He is a passionate believer in the radical message of the Gospel, God's unconditional love for all sinners who are saved by faith alone in Christ. Pastor Dave will be joined by Paul Heisler on the piano. Paul is a wonderful musician known through out the lakes area for his musicianship. He is a performer, piano instructor, church musician, and accompanist for the DL high school choir. | |
