Devotions were led by THESE GUYS, a skit trio that brings comedy and insight to the day-to-day experience of adults and teenagers. The group brought God's Word to the attendees using comedy, drama and wigs to illustrate a dramatic response to the Christian life."Jesus Christ is the best thing that ever happened to me," Dr. Lessing told the audience before sharing examples of people movers, people mashers and people manipulators that existed throughout the Bible and are prevalent in the world today. "You never encourage anyone by standing over, looking down or standing in front of people," he says. "The only way to make a difference in this world is to influence people through regular, disciplined study of the Word of God." On Saturday afternoon, attendees had their choice to attend three of the 17 different breakout sessions. The conference closed with a Saturday evening banquet
