An email list has been created to help in communications from the Chapter to the Congregational Coordinators. We would appreciate it if you would join this list. Simply send a note to Norm Fisher if you want to be added to this list.

The Champaign County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans holds our meetings in Lutheran churches in the area, going around to them to introduce ourselves to the Thrivent Members at that church as well as helping them to learn more about us as an organization.

We meet the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 until end of meeting (roughly 8:00 to 8:30 usually). We hold a training session from 6:00 to 6:30 with the congregational coordinators for each of the churches (or any surrounding churches who want to come).

In exchange for hosting our meetings, the board will donate $50 to the host church -- the congregational coordinators who open up the church and provide a light snack can use the money in any way they see fit -- for the church building program, for their youth, or any other area of the church.
