Our music ministry program exists to praise God and to enhance the worship services at St. John's and throughout the community. As we work towards this goal we create lasting friendships, we grow spiritually as individuals, and we have a whole lot of fun!

We invite you to join one of our choirs or offer special music at one of our services.

St. John's Chancel Choir, directed by Steve McMillen, sings choral music at our 10:30 worship service and other special services. This choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00. During Lent and Advent, rehearsals begin as soon as the worship service concludes. Membership in this choir is open to everyone.

The Sanctuary Bell Choir is a four-octave handbell choir directed by one of our very own church members. This choir meets on Monday evenings. Since each bell is assigned to a particular player, membership in this choir is set-up at the begining of each year. Members are asked to commit to one full season, at the end of which new members may be rotated into the group. Experienced ringers are invited to serve as substitutes until an opening becomes available.
