Pennies For Life Pennies For Life
In celebration of the life God has given to each of us, Yellowstone Valley Lutherans For Life is asking for your help. We are asking for a donation of one penny for each year of life from each person, young and old alike. (Larger contributions are also graciously accepted!) Your gifts will be used by Lutherans For Life for many educational projects which share the Scriptural value of life. Please support Lutherans For Life by remembering your pennies and placing them in the designated container. Many thanks, and God's Blessings!

"For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise;
The living, the living - they praise you, as I am doing today." - Isaiah 38:18a,19a

Why is there such a great need for the Good News of LIFE in our society? Because...
...so many turn to death as a solution to problems.
...abortion destroys nearly 3250 children per day.
...imposed death through assisted suicide and euthanasia threatens to destroy our elderly and disabled with or without their consent.
...bio-technologies, such as cloning, in vitro fertilization, and genetic manipulation, can challenge God's authorship and Lordship of life.

Lutherans need to...
...take a stand with God's Word of Law and call wrong things wrong.
...share the Good News of LIFE in Jesus so people will know they have someone they can trust in every situation.
...share the Good News of LIFE so people will know they have a Savior to turn to for hope and healing when mistakes are made.

"Is your love declared in the grave, your faithfulness in Destruction?" - Psalm 88:11
-- Lutherans For Life applies God's Word, both His Law and His Gospel, to all of the life issues - abortion, chastity, assisted suicide and euthanasia, and bio-technology.
-- Lutherans For Life wants to help "For Life" Christians offer the hope and help of the Good News of Jesus Christ to:
* women with an untimely pregnancy.
* women, men, and families suffering under the guilt of an abortion.
* young people with questions and concerns about sexuality.
* the elderly and those with disabilities or terminal illness.
-- Lutherans For Life is a positive "For Life" ministry. Lutherans For Life believes that God gives the gift of life to all people - from the moment of conception until natural death.
-- Lutherans For Life is able to encourage, educate, and uplift with a Gospel-centered, Word-based message of hope, true forgiveness, and new life because of your support and membership.
"God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into
the world that we might have life through Him." - 1 John 4:9

"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple. Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: 'He catches the wise in their craftiness;' and again, 'The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.' So then, no more boasting about men! All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Peter or the world or life or death or the present or the future — all are yours, and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God." - 1 Corinthians 3:16-23
